Why

dope's /profile showed a password form and a logout button, with nothing saying who you were logged in as. xy's profile has had that line since forever.

The page now opens with the identity block: «Вы вошли как login.» plus «Telegram: @handle.» when a handle is linked. Either identity can be absent — a Telegram-only account has no username until it picks one, and a username/password account never links a handle — so each line is conditional and the section disappears when there is nothing to say.
